I've had this phone for a little over a month and only had it randomly restart about 4 times total in that time. But this last time, I was listening to music, battery at around 73%, temp was 35C.
I switched a song on Winamp and turned the screen off. The music stopped and I couldn't turn it back on. As I took the case off and the back part for the battery, it went to the start up but didn't boot fully. I took the battery out and checked out this problem online, seems as if I am not the only one either. Many Motorola users in general are suffering this issue whereas some are not. Maybe it's something that's installed? I just removed many useless apps and so far so good.
Does anybody else have / had the same issue with Motorola phones? Any ideas what the cause(s) may be?

This may not be relevant, but have you scanned all of your music files to make sure none has a virus?

Yup, I've scanned them all on my laptop. No viruses. Maybe it could be an app... I've looked more into this and it's not just the Photon, it's most of the Motorola phones (Atrix, Bionic, etc). I've also heard something about Google Voice being the culprit in all the reboots and SoDs.
