Blizzard has recently released the opening cinematic to the campaign on the Diablo 3 website.
Diablo 3 starts in Tristrim Cathedral with Deckard Cain, and his niece Leah. Cain decided to return to the cathedral in order to find signs of the return of the burning hells upon sanctuary. Unfortunatly, the two find out only in time for it to begin. Suddenly the building began to shake and rip apart and a burning star fell from the heavens to the very place diablo's evil had first began, just as Cain had read. Leah quickly leaped out of the way of the falling rubble, but Cain fell further below the cathedral with the star.
